Verify on your phone

Two checks.
Then you're set.

Menus vary by device and software version. These checks use information from your phone itself, which is the most reliable place to confirm.

  1. 01

    Look for an EID

Open Settings and search for “EID.” If your phone displays an EID, it has built-in eSIM hardware. You may also see “Add eSIM” or “Add mobile plan.”

  2. 02

    Confirm carrier lock status

Check your device information for a carrier-lock or network-lock status. If it is unclear, contact the carrier that sold or financed your phone.

Complete both checks before choosing a plan.

A few details

Why variants matter

Manufacturers sometimes sell different versions of the same phone in different countries or through different carriers. Hardware, software, and eSIM availability can vary between them.

This finder is sample data for the Waystone preview, not a promise about every variant. The final check should always happen on the phone you plan to travel with.
