Not production legal advice. Bracketed review notes have been turned into visible counsel notes so launch owners can see what remains unresolved.
1. About these terms
These terms are intended to govern access to the Waystone website, account, support tools, and any travel connectivity products made available for purchase. A final version must identify the contracting entity, its address, and the law that applies.
Legal counsel must add the contracting entity, jurisdiction, effective date, and acceptance mechanism.
2. Preview and live services
Waystone may operate in a preview or demo mode while commercial telecom and payment providers are not configured. Demo plans, checkout flows, eSIMs, usage, and orders are simulations and do not provide paid connectivity.
When live products are enabled, the checkout must clearly identify the plan, destination or coverage area, data allowance, validity period, activation policy, available network information, hotspot policy, price, currency, and any provider-supplied fair-use terms before purchase.
3. Accounts and eligibility
Customers must provide accurate account and order information, protect their sign-in credentials, and notify Waystone if they believe their account has been accessed without permission.
- Use the service only where legally permitted.
- Do not share passwords or sensitive activation details publicly.
- Do not attempt to access another customer’s account or eSIM profile.
Counsel should define minimum age and any territory-specific eligibility rules.
4. Orders, payment, and fulfillment
A displayed product is not confirmed until the server records a successful payment and accepts the order. A frontend success page or payment redirect alone is not proof of payment.
Live eSIM fulfillment should occur only after server-side payment confirmation. Taxes, exchange rates, failed payments, and provider availability may affect an order as explained at checkout.
5. Installation and use
Customers are responsible for checking that the exact device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked before purchase. Installation, activation, and network behavior can differ by plan and device.
Customers should not delete an installed eSIM unless instructed by support. Some profiles cannot be reinstalled automatically. Waystone must present provider-specific rules only when supplied by the provider.
6. Availability and third parties
Connectivity may depend on external networks, eSIM providers, device manufacturers, payment processors, and internet services. Waystone should not promise uninterrupted service or a particular speed unless a verified product term says so.
Third-party services may have their own terms. Waystone remains responsible for the obligations that applicable law does not allow it to exclude.
7. Cancellations, refunds, and disputes
Refund requests are evaluated under the Refund Policy, the state of the eSIM, applicable provider rules, and any rights that cannot be waived by contract. A request is not automatically approved or denied solely because it was submitted.
Counsel must define dispute handling, cancellation rights, governing law, and any mandatory consumer remedies.
8. Acceptable use
Customers must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Waystone may need to restrict or suspend access to protect customers, networks, providers, or the service when misuse or a security risk is reasonably suspected.
Counsel should define notice, appeal, suspension, termination, warranties, indemnities, and liability limitations.
9. Changes and contact
Material changes should be communicated before they take effect when required. The final terms must include a monitored contact channel and explain how earlier versions can be requested.
